With almost four decades of pavement engineering, management, and research experience under his belt, Gabe uses this experience to enhance his role as an operations leader for our Infrastructure Management and Pavement Engineering (IMPE) group. He’s active in the IMPE industry, serving as chairs of the Transportation Research Board’s Innovations in Pavement Condition Evaluation subcommittee and the Transportation Association of Canada’s Automated Pavement Data Collection user group.
Passionate about research and providing better, longer lasting and resilient pavements, Gabe currently works as the project manager of the Federal Highway Administration’s (FWHA’s) Long Term Pavement Performance Data Collection Services Contract. The largest roadway research project in the world, it has helped FWHA accumulate data on in service pavement sections for over 35 years.
When not helping improve roadways, you can find Gabe at the lake enjoying the outdoors and being the “Best Grandpa” to his granddaughter.
