Leslie is a geotechnical engineer in our Edmonton office with extensive field experience. Having a lifelong passion for sciences, he’s grown his skill-set from field testing to now nearly all aspects of geotechnical engineering.
Working on more complex projects every year, Leslie’s experience has grown in the fields of geohazard remediation, slope stability, foundation design, earthworks, and transportation infrastructure. During fieldwork he mentors the next generation by sharing his unique vision and cost-effective solutions even when conditions aren’t ideal. Brainstorming creative approaches with clients, he’s rewarded when he can reduce impacts to the public, save schedule times, and witness his designs coming to life. Recently, he’s pushed the boundaries on projects in Alberta such as the Highway 32 Landslide Repair and the Aurum Road Wildlife Crossing.
Reflecting the creative nature of his role, Leslie spends time building large-scale Lego with his family and traveling wherever his food journey takes him—on food-focused tours trying diverse and interesting menus.
