A senior electrical engineer with a passion for ships, Anvesh has a broad background and has worked in various industries—before coming to New Zealand, he worked on projects related to marine and offshore shipbuilding. Currently, he works as design lead with our Water team on the Water and Wastewater pump stations. He’s also with our Buildings team, where he’s involved in construction monitoring and commissioning activities for data centers.
Anvesh’s responsibilities consist of design checks, reviews, and leading projects related to electrical and control systems. No matter the industry sector, he likes to validate engineering design, methods, and applications to produce design drawings that cover the project lifecycle.
When he’s not designing, Anvesh is a movie buff who loves to analyze the storyline and get into the director’s head—but not for sci-fi movies! He also enjoys sketching with graphite pencils in his downtime. Someday, he’d love to be part of a design team for hydrogen-fueled electric ships.
