A senior water resource engineer, Jennifer specializes in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, from open channel flow to potable water and conveyance systems. She’s an experienced project manager, utility master planner, and design engineer.
Jennifer helps clients identify potential risks in their communities through preparation of flood hazard maps. For example, she’s currently managing the City of St. John’s Flood Risk Mapping project. The goal of this project is to produce floodplain and flood hazard maps for 20- and 100-year flood events. These maps will be used by the City to plan flood protection projects, prepare emergency response plans, and make informed decisions regarding infrastructure upgrades and development applications.
When she isn’t solving complex water and stormwater issues, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, trying new recipes, reading murder mysteries, and refining her amateur cake decorating skills.
