With over 20 years of experience in civil works, Michael has worked on a variety of projects across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. From new greenfield subdivision and large commercial site design to apartment buildings and gas stations to parks and more, he aims to create civil designs that meet their functions so well as to go unnoticed.
As a subdivision design lead based in Calgary, Michael provides value managed civil design packages for subdivisions and private developments. To achieve this task, he regularly coordinates with colleagues, the approving authority, and clients to reach a consensus on solutions. He also leads a group of engineers and technologists, providing design and drafting oversite as well as career support. His mentoring carries over into his affiliation with the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).
When he isn’t refining civil designs or sharing his knowledge with the next generation of engineers, you’ll find Michael partaking in amateur motorcycle and car racing.
