As a chartered scientist and contaminated land consultant, Katie has experience that spans more than 20 years in environmental sciences and contaminated land management. Drawing on her expertise, she conducted environmental investigations for residential and commercial developments, schools, and brownfield sites such as former fuel stations and light industrial sites.
Katie believes that environmental responsibility and innovative solutions help create a sustainable future. Now working within the Project Management team in Brighton, she manages complex projects that include implementing nature-based solutions, sustainable drainage systems, and leakage management. She excels in project execution, client relationship management, and mentoring graduates.
A fellow of the Geological Society, and a member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences, Katie’s also a first aider and STEM Ambassador—reflecting her commitment to professional development and supporting the well-being of others.
