Kurt has been in the environmental, health, and safety field for over two decades, acquiring his industrial hygiene technical skills in various industries such as environmental remediation, mining, energy, and transportation. Assisting clients with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance, he’s conducted exposure assessments, inspections, and job hazard analyses for occupational exposures to beryllium, lead, mercury, silica, diesel particulate material, asbestos, and organic solvents.
Committed to the science of protecting workers’ health and safety, Kurt focuses on risk reduction through design, safety management implementation, and keeping pace with the latest technology in a changing workplace. He has developed, implemented, and managed several health and safety programs related to occupational health and safety including respiratory protection, hearing conservation, and biological monitoring.
When he’s not working to protect workers from occupational health and safety hazards, Kurt enjoys traveling, live music, and cooking.
