Jason brings nearly 20 years of experience leading transformative initiatives that have helped communities across North America manage growth in ways that build economic competitiveness, promote equity, and enhance livability. This work has ranged from large-scale comprehensive planning and civic engagement initiatives to planning for individual neighborhoods, districts, and high-profile sites.
Prominent projects in recent years include the Lyndale Avenue Suburban Retrofit Strategy in Bloomington, Minnesota; The West Annapolis Master Plan in Annapolis, Maryland; and a new vision for the Kanata North Business Park in Ottawa, Ontario.
A respected thought leader with a strong interest in the full range of opportunities and challenges facing America’s suburbs, Jason recently authored Repurposing Retail Centers: Profiles in Adaptation, Repositioning and Redevelopment (NAIOP Research Foundation: December 2019) and is co-editor of Suburban Remix: Creating the Next Generation of Urban Places (Island Press: February 2018).
