With a passion for improving and protecting our local communities, Devin strives to strike an ever-evolving balancing between designing resilient infrastructure with mitigating the effects of that infrastructure on the natural environment. He specializes in hydrology, open channel hydraulics, and stormwater management, as well as the associated flood risk analysis, mitigation, and climate adaptation aspects of that work.
Devin was recently involved in the Springfield Lake Wastewater Servicing Study. He leveraged both his modeling and design experience to analyze the system and collaborate with our client to find a flexible solution that incorporated a variety of system alterations based on the client’s needs. The design included proposed wastewater system upgrades that met base project requirements for current and future demands, as well as multiple add-in changes that could be implemented to further improve the efficiency of the system.
When not designing water related solutions around Atlantic Canada, Devin enjoys spending his time traveling with his growing family, gardening, and always finding an excuse to be on, in, or near any local body of water.
