With nearly 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, Hazel has worked on projects in the United Kingdom, France, and Australia. From infrastructure to commercial to residential projects, Hazel draws upon her background in contracting to resolve technical issues with a measured and practical approach.
Hazel specializes in pile/foundation and retaining wall design for infrastructure. Over the last decade, she has worked on the design, documentation, and implementation of flagship projects, including the Metro Tunnel RIA, the Westgate Tunnel Upgrade, the M80 Upgrade, the Monash Freeway Upgrade, the expansion at Melbourne Airport, and Adelaide Oval. She particularly enjoys projects where multidisciplinary collaboration is involved.
In her spare time, Hazel enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, baking intricate cakes and desserts, and gardening. She also likes sewing, creating costumes for her son and winning the best dressed in his year group multiple years running.
