A chartered civil engineer, Reza has extensive experience in delivering a range of geotechnical and civil projects. He leads the design and delivery of complex civil and structural elements for substation infrastructure and overhead line (OHL) engineering. Focusing on compliance, safety, and buildability, he supports projects from feasibility through construction.
Drawing on a double master’s degree in structural engineering, Reza’s experience includes technical design and leadership, design coordination and compliance, and cost estimation and tender preparation. He mentors team members, authors technical guidance and procedures, and manages cross disciplinary interfaces—all with sustainability and environment in mind. His work aligns with clients’ evolving frameworks that includes National Grid’s SR188 for design management and multidisciplinary coordination.
Away from his work with substation and OHL technical delivery, Reza enjoys practicing karate, his passion for over 35 years, and Persian calligraphy.
