A senior process engineer, Yamrot works on detailed design and planning studies for drinking water treatment plants and water reuse projects. She specializes in direct and indirect potable water reuse, water quality monitoring and regulatory compliance, energy and nutrient recovery, and process optimization.
Yamrot is currently leading pilot studies that aim to provide safe drinking water under the California State Water Resources Control Board’s framework of the Safe and Affordable Funding for Equity and Resilience (SAFER) Program. Proud to live and work in California, which is in the forefront of pushing the boundaries for potable water reuse, she loves having the opportunity to work on some of the largest projects in the region that could serve as flagship examples of water reuse.
When she isn’t helping explore new avenues of water reuse, Yamrot likes going to the beach, hiking, and walking on the weekends. She also enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures.
