With degrees in civil engineering and physical and biological sciences, coupled with diverse transportation and land development experiences, Nat is the industry’s heavyweight who believes premium sustainable transit is the backbone of transportation systems.
As the Alberta North transit team lead, Nat mentors engineers and technologists who support transit projects, also advising on conceptual planning and design. He’s currently the senior project manager for the Metro Line NW extension and is supporting various light rail transit (LRT) station renewal projects. His transparency helps lead projects and build strong relationships. Having worked for the City of Edmonton, Nat connects well with municipal clients, understanding both the client’s and consultant’s sides of the project delivery process.
When not designing transportation networks, Nat can be found at the gym and dojo. With over 15 years in martial arts, he holds a second degree blackbelt in Uechi-Ryu Karate and is working towards a black belt in Kobudo.
