Working to support sustainable projects across North America, Varun specializes in energy modeling for code compliance and energy conservation. As a building performance consultant, he also conducts loads analysis, energy audit analyses, life cycle costing, and assists with sustainability certifications, such as LEED and Green Globes.
Varun’s passion for climate change mitigation and energy efficiency is reflected in his experience and education. He completed his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering at the University of Kansas and has a graduate certificate in energy management from Algonquin College.
When he’s not conducting building performance analyses, Varun loves rock climbing and spending time outdoors. His latest outdoor pursuit is learning to surf along Nova Scotia’s beautiful coast.
