Newcastle, Australia

Newcastle, situated on the east coast of New South Wales, is surrounded by breathtaking coastlines and golden sand beaches that attract surfers from all over the world. It’s also home to Lake Macquarie, Australia’s largest coastal saltwater lake. With a heritage of coal mining, and once dubbed the Steel City, Newcastle has a myriad of abandoned honeycomb mineshafts from centuries of mining. The famous Newcastle Harbour has one of the world’s biggest coal loading terminals—still functional today.

Our team has spent the last two decades supporting the rehabilitation of this city, keeping the area structurally safe and functional. Our civil and structural engineering capability has provided support, from mine, port, and resources infrastructure to support structures, towers, and more. We’re ready to tackle challenges with creativity, especially when it comes to sustainability and rehabilitation.

Inspired to maintain the natural beauty of this scenic town, our teams lead by example to create more sustainable and resilient solutions towards a greener future.
