Stantec hires Brock LaForty as Regional Growth Leader for its US Transportation practice

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has appointed Brock LaForty as regional growth leader for its Transportation practice. As an integral member of the Transportation leadership team, LaForty will help grow and develop Stantec’s transportation services across all sectors and all disciplines within North America.

In his new role, LaForty will be responsible for strategic planning, growth strategy for transportation infrastructure markets, developing key client accounts, and driving alignment across sectors and regions in the United States. He will contribute to revenue growth through strategic regional initiatives, organic and acquisitive growth, client capture strategy, service expansion, and client engagement.

LaForty previously served as senior vice president and transportation business leader at WSP USA Inc. where he led operations and growth for the company’s transportation business line in the Capital District (Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, and West Virginia). In that role, he was also responsible for teaming and execution on major projects, including alternative project delivery in the Capital District, and served as principal-in-charge on many projects and contracts in that region.
