Stantec recognized for climate change leadership by CDP for third consecutive year
A-class rating from CDP among multiple recent sustainability achievements

Global integrated design firm, Stantec, has been awarded an A-class score within the world-recognized climate change index established by CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) for the third year in a row. As the non-profit awarding body, CDP operates a global disclosure system enabling investors, companies, cities, states, and regions to manage and measure operational impacts on the environment. Stantec is one of the only firms in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry to earn an A-class rating for three-consecutive years.
For 2020, Stantec repeated our technical classification of A-, placing the firm in the “Leadership” category for contributing to a sustainable future, among almost 10,000 reporting companies.
Sustainability Accolades
In addition to the CDP recognition, Stantec has earned sustainability achievements including one of Corporate Knights’ 2020 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World and named by Corporate Knights as one of Canada’s Best 50 Corporate Citizens, eight times. Stantec also maintains an AA rating with MSCI, a leading provider of research-based indexes and analytics for institutional investors.
