Kiewit Corporation tops out Stantec-designed Regional Headquarters Campus

Earlier this month, the design staff at Stantec joined Kiewit Corporation for a topping out ceremony for Kiewit’s new regional headquarters campus in the RidgeGate development of Lone Tree, Colorado. The approximately 400,000-square-foot office complex is designed to accommodate more than 1,700 employees, enabling Kiewit, one of North America’s largest construction and engineering organizations, to grow its presence in Denver and consolidate its existing employees, while providing flexibility for future growth.

Stantec—a global architecture, engineering, and design firm with multiple Denver offices—is providing architecture, interior design, lighting design, and landscape architecture for the project. Kiewit Building Group is leading construction as the general contractor for the facility.

The new campus is on approximately 12.6 acres of land and offers easy access to public transportation and a convenient location adjacent to I-25. The campus design provides employees sweeping mountain views. The design will meet Kiewit’s organizational needs, while embracing the company’s culture, showcasing its brand and inspiring its employees. Design features include a full-service café; fitness, training, and conference facilities; a parking structure; pedestrian walkways to the adjacent light rail station; and an employee roof deck gathering space.

Stantec is known for designing high-performance workplaces. The first phase of the project, which includes the first office building and a parking garage, is expected to be completed in early spring of 2021.
