To align with Stantec operations around the globe, the Latin America region (Chile, Argentina and Peru) leadership model has been adjusted, resulting in changes to key positions within the region. This reorganization in Latin America will positively impact our clients, and Company operations.
Alberto Coya is now Latin America Regional Leader
As Regional Leader, Alberto will be responsible for ensuring the operational excellence and the financial performance for the over 400 staff based in our Latin American offices (Chile, Argentina, Peru). He will also be responsible for coordinating with the global leaders of the Mining, Energy and Dams and Gas and Oil sectors of Stantec. He will also keep his current role of Peru Country Manager.
Alberto joined the Company in 2015, has more than 25 years of experience working for international engineering and construction companies and holds a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Toledo, Ohio; and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from PUCP.
Rosario Urrutia is now Chile Country Manager
As Country Manager, Rosario, who served as Regional Environment Manager, will now be responsible for leading and managing the Stantec office located in Santiago, Chile. She will be focused on local clients, while assisting Alberto and Mark in the development of regional or global clients.
Rosario Urrutia has more than 25 years of experience in key positions in the environmental field, conducting studies, evaluations and audits for mining, energy, industrial, real estate development and infrastructure projects in the public and private sectors. In addition to studying in her own discipline both in Chile and abroad, she has directed and coordinated multidisciplinary teams in the execution of highly complex environmental projects. She has also served as the interim Country Manager for Chile in the past.
