In the latest episode of I’m an Innovator, we meet Kyle Jones, a civil designer and the creator of Stantec Beacon.
It’s a fully automated vertical design tool for solar facilities. It was used to design Travers, the largest solar facility in Canada, located two hours southeast of Calgary, Alberta.
We visit the Travers site to talk to Anna Kozicky, Stantec’s project manager for the construction of Travers, to learn how Beacon saved time and money and had a positive impact on the surrounding environment.
