Stantec experts discuss the challenges and successful completion of adding hydropower to the Red Rock Dam in the latest issue of Power Magazine
Power Magazine has named The Red Rock Hydroelectric Project a 2021 POWER Top Plant award winner in the Renewable Energy category. The decision to add power generation to the existing Red Rock Dam on the Des Moines River was based on the desire to supply clean, reliable, cost-effective, long-term renewable electricity to local communities. As the owner’s engineer and designer on the project, Stantec experts shared the knowledge and experience on the project with Power Magazine.
