Whether it’s technical challenges, market opportunities, or development constraints and regulatory requirements, Paul helps our team and our clients create effective strategies that make hydropower, dam, and other projects successful.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the planning, design, and rehabilitation of major hydroelectric plants, Paul leads a multidisciplinary staff that specializes in engineering and consulting services for the dams, hydropower, and navigation sectors. Among his many projects, Paul oversaw the construction of four hydropower plants at existing Army Corps of Engineer Locks and Dams along the Ohio River for American Municipal Power. These four projects are the largest deployment of new hydropower in the United States in recent history and are providing clean, reliable renewable power to more than 100,000 homes.
To Paul, the most rewarding part of his job is watching others develop as individuals and professionals through a deeper understanding of the importance of their work on dams and hydropower projects. When he’s not in the office, you can find him cheering on the “best team in baseball,” the Chicago Cubs.
