A Principal Civil Engineer in our Water UK-North group, Gwen has over 20 years’ experience in both the US and UK, delivering solutions for flooding and water quality challenges. With a wide range of project experience, Gwen has worked on bathing water improvement schemes, sustainable urban drainage (SuDS), surface water separation, combined sewer overflow (CSO) screening and storage, and flood alleviation schemes.
Gwen is dedicated to her profession and contributes her time and experience to the Women in Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management mentoring programme. This programme is designed to connect engineering professionals with a particular skill set to a small group of individuals to learn from each other, develop, and make progress toward their personal and professional goals.
Outside of work, community is key for Gwen and she takes an active role locally to support STEM activities with students, and is a proud ambassador and volunteer for the North East STEM Hub.
