Amer has 30 years of engineering, project and programme management experience helping a range of utility and infrastructure clients to successfully deliver their projects.
As development director, Amer specialises in activities to support private developers, waste management companies and Transmission and Distribution organisations, delivering major investment programmes and resource recovery solutions. Amer’s expertise also extends to supporting organisations who are helping to contribute to the UK energy mix through renewable and smart technologies.
The growth of the circular economy and renewable energy sector in the UK has seen a number of clients adopting energy from waste, biomass, pumped storage, onshore and offshore wind, battery storage and carbon capture storage to reduce carbon emissions.
Amer has always enjoyed taking part in sports and in recent years participates in bootcamps and cycling to stay fit, which helps with his other passion being food and eating out.
