As part of our corporate Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) group, Claire is responsible for the coordination and execution of the HSSE program and management system within the United Kingdom (UK).
Claire’s personal mission is to grow the Stantec SaferTogether culture to enable people to flourish, including consideration of human factors that affect behaviour. Growing our SaferTogether culture means having effective conversations, embedding HSSE knowledge and processes, building relationships, and embracing our 24/7 HSSE mindset. Having lived in the shoes of the contractor, consultant, and client on major civil engineering programmes, Claire has both project delivery and health and safety management experience that allows her to develop and implement workable and efficient solutions.
Claire is excited about the use of technology such as artificial intelligence, BIM, off-site manufacturing, and 3D/4D digital rehearsals to embed responsible and sustainable thinking in projects.
